Sambo rolling knee bar sweeps

This is a live application of the technique in a tournament context. Notice the realistic reaction of the red sambo player--he resists the technique, he doesn't simply roll with it, as the drills above illustrate. This causes the blue player to have to pick the red player's other leg for the take down. The blue player then applies the submission from his side and finishes by rolling inward toward a prone position. He was also fortunate enough to be able to trap both of the red player's legs, greatly securing his position and the lock.
